At the end of May, members of all three of our churches gathered alongside some from Tackley Methodists to worship in the open air in Tackley.
We gathered to thank God for all his gifts to us, and to pray for each of our villages - for our homes, schools, places of work and joy, for each other and for all that makes up village life. We sang and prayed, and Rector Marcus Green reminded us of words from Luke's Gospel where the centurion says - "only say the word and I shall be healed". God is loving and kind, and as we celebrate his gifts we must trust him for all our needs.
Before the service we were treated to breakfast rolls, and many folk stayed afterwards to enjoy more - and even if the weather only intermittently allowed the sunshine to break through, our hearts were warmed by the worship and the fellowship!
