Advent Celebration in Steeple Aston

We begin Advent in Steeple Aston with an evening of words and music, poetry and song and instruments blending together under the direction of Nicholas Cleobury with singers from St Martin in the Fields, London and two astounding young Australian violinists, Eliza Scott and Liam Keneally.

Advent is always a special time - a time of excitement and yearning, a preparation for all that is to come as the year turns toward Christmas.

This Advent promises to be especially wonderful, as we settle in to words familiar and new, sounds that are comforting and just a little disturbing, making December burn bright with the light of the coming Christ.
