The Steeple Aston Cope at the V&A

The V&A's new exhibition "Opus Anglicanum, Masterpieces of English Medieval Embroidery" features the Steeple Aston Cope - as does their publicity (see above). The Rector was invited to the private viewing reception at the end of September and says that the whole exhibition is stunning, with the Steeple Aston Cope coming right at the end.

Anyone who lives in Steeple Aston may have a discount at the exhibition. Either ask when arriving at the V&A, showing evidence of residence in the parish, or book on line and use the code VAMSTEEPLE in the box which asks if you have a promotional code. This will reduce the exhibition fee from £12 to £10.
