Steeple Aston Compact Concerts

After months of sharing news about online arts and YouTube music links, we've decided if we can't get to the music it's time to bring the music to us...

So we are launching Steeple Aston Church Compact Concerts, a series of short (just under the hour) concerts that will happen in Steeple Church.

The first two events are a Concert for St Cecilia on Nov 21st and A Choral Christmas on Dec 12th.

The Concert for St Cecilia features two young Australian musicians studying in London: soprano Cassandra Wright, and pianist Elli Welsh. They bring us a programme of music that celebrates music, with songs by Britten, Handel, Purcell and Schubert. The programme will be presented by our own Nicholas Cleobury.

A Choral Christmas features a new small local choir, the Aston Singers, under the direction of Nicholas Cleobury. With full-blown congregational singing at carol services seeming unlikely this year, this celebration of the festive season in song is particularly welcome. We're running this concert twice in the same evening as we anticipate high demand and seats are limited!

All concert tickets are £12, available only in advance.
