Steeple Aston Church Warden Malcolm Hensher is taking a bigger leap of faith than usual... On March 12th he will be joining others in abseiling down the tower of St Mary Mags in Oxford to help raise money for Christian Aid. He has never done anything like this before - he's perfectly used to ropes & towers, but on the inside, and with bells attached! Steeple Aston bids Bon Voyage to the Cleoburys
As Nick and Heather Cleobury head for new pastures on the far side of the planet, the congregation at Steeple Aston gathered to pray and bless them on their way. We look forward to seeing them later in the year, and will keep them in heart and mind till them. Australia is very lucky to be gaining such wonderful people!


Fr Robin Gibbons installed as Ecumenical Canon by Bishop Colin
Tackley's own Robin Gibbons was installed as Ecumenical Canon in the Diocese of Oxford by Bishop Colin at the end of January. A full cathedral saw a dozen honary, lay and ecumenical canons receive their honours, and there was terrific representation from Tackley in the congregation. Congrats Canon Robin!
